Recreational Shows
Information for riders entering Maple Ridge recreational and training shows.
How do I enter a recreational show?
Entries are completed online through the Maple Ridge website when entries are open. Each rider should select the relevant class or height and complete payment before the closing date.
Do I need to be a graded rider to enter?
No. Recreational and training classes are aimed at riders who want a friendly show-day experience, including newer riders, young riders and riders building confidence.
Can I change my class or height on the day?
Changes may be possible depending on the schedule and class availability. Please speak to the show office as early as possible on the day.
Where will recreational results be published?
Recreational results will be published on the Maple Ridge website after the event.
Are stables available?
Stables may be available for selected shows. Stable bookings are made online when stabling is open. Shavings are included, but riders must bring their own hay, feed and water buckets.
Will food and refreshments be available?
Yes, food and refreshments are usually available at Maple Ridge events for riders, families and supporters.
SANESA at Maple Ridge
Maple Ridge is proud to host SANESA riders, schools and families.
Important SANESA notice
Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm is the host venue only. SANESA entries, riding orders, schedules, team information and event administration are managed by SANESA and participating schools.
Does Maple Ridge manage SANESA entries?
No. SANESA entries are not managed by Maple Ridge. Please contact your school, SANESA representative or visit the official SANESA website for entry-related questions.
Can I book a stable for a SANESA event?
Yes. If stables are available for the event, they can be booked directly through Maple Ridge. Stabling includes shavings. Please bring your own hay, feed and water buckets.
Will refreshments be available at SANESA events?
Yes. Maple Ridge will provide food and refreshments for riders, families and supporters during hosted SANESA events where possible.
Who do I contact about SANESA riding orders or class changes?
Please contact SANESA or your school representative directly. Maple Ridge does not manage SANESA riding orders, class changes or team administration.

Where is Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm?
Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm is located in the Krugersdorp area, in the Cradle countryside.
Can spectators attend?
Yes. Spectators, parents and supporters are welcome. Please respect horses, riders and officials around the arenas and warm-up areas.
